Heart shape?

Why the heart is drawn always in A SHAPE thats not exactly how it looks like in real. is it matter of doctors and surgeons heart and Artists or painters hearts are they in two different shapes..thats why?hahahah…a stupid question haan?but reallie intersted to know..please answer real.

In the past, realistic depictions tended to have more of a grim connotation with death while the simpler shape was obviously less so, and more likely to be associated with the symbolism of the heart as the seat of the human mind.
